Forces, Vehicles, Technology and Equipment The standing army is split into two main arms. These are equipped in an almost identical fashion and all with a strong leadership cadre but are trained to different levels. Although there is a separate Artillery Bombardment the main ‘rapid deployment’ Forces include the Elite Infantry (Troupes de Marine de l'espace) and the very well trained Armoured Cavalry (Arme Blindée Cavalerie). Armour on the vehicles is both passive and active. The active system includes the advanced COQUILLE 3 panel armour laid in sheets over the passive armour, itself  a composite comprised (amongst other things) of a sapphire and ceramic matrix faced with hardened steel. The vehicles are fitted with an advanced AI system aiding both attack and defensive workloads on the crew. Vehicles are generally fitted with some of the latest High Intensity powerguns in 3cm, 10cm and 20cm calibres however AAA is handled by individual vehicles 2cm tribarrels supplemented with a Conebore system and the ability to use their ATGWs in a direct anti-missile system. This even extends to the ATGW equipped infantry.
With its twin turret hatch giving excellent unbuttoned visability the three man Curtiss can handle most combat situations The Baumann is noticably larger than the Oldmann but caries a slightly smaller gun The Kochte MBTs uses a 20cm powerguns although like all of these vehciles in Auroran use they are backed by a 2cm powergun
