The Compaigne de Barthe post 338 versus TAS and Stewart Regiment
Initial set up for the CdB: Montsaberts take position
Another attack on Dulwich City Jim and I played a quick game using two forces. Defending the city were Jim’s three detachments of the later Compaigne de Barthe  (post 338) attempting to stop a single detachment of the Stewart Regiment who had support from a single Terran Authority Star  Marine detachment. The French forces - their frst time out on the table - were using the new Brigade models EuroFed vehicles, including the Montsabert MBT and Support Tank, a Glorie hog firing over open sights on table and a quad AA tank the Juin.Supporting them in the heabvy hitter department, they had both Garibaldi tank destroyers and a brace of the Gallieni tank destroyer as well. Finally, they had support from Tassigny APCs, MICVs and missile carriers plus infantry - including fan bikes - from GZG and some light Comanche 4x4 vehicles from Rebel Miniatures. In command the CdB had Colonel Barthe himself: LV10 and with Elite skills of Defensive Stalwart and Morale Officer. They also fielded an enhanced sniper to direct missile attacks. The TAS had Old Crow vehicles and GZG infantry. The Stewart Regiment had Brigade Models vehicles from the British and NeoSov ranges with Armies Army figures. Deployment The TAS and Stewart Regiment came in from two angles to split the defenders forces, meaning that the CdB had to do a fair degree of reshuffling to move vehicles into good firing positions. The Stewart forces kept their mortar to the rear and deployed their AT guns ASAP!
