The destruction of the Legion The Zaporoskiyes claim to have been engaging a group of rebels during the brief Autumn uprising, but Kraai staff that observed the shelling (who had been told to evacuate at short notice) stated that the action went far beyond a simple anti-insurgent operation and seemed to be remarkably precise, targeting design offices and production lines. They also pointed out the connections between the brigade and Uralvagonzavod, one of Kraai's main competitors. The upshot was that overnight the Legion series became unavailable and spares very difficult to obtain, with the loss of blueprints and schematics making even third party spares impossible to find - the loss of the uninsured plant rapidly pushed Kraai into bankruptcy. Seeing an opportunity, a new startup company by the name of JTTF Industries recruited as many of the scattered Kraai design team as they could find and put them to work on a direct replacement. Within nine months, by using as many standard commercial components and existing turret and weapons systems as possible, the first Centurion variants were undergoing trials, and eleven months after that the Poplar Regiment deployed the first 800-series vehicles in operations on Tannahill.
