After 339TW
After losing badly on Placidus in 339TW to the
Slammers, the new Colonel el Khalid (one of the few
surviving officers from the Battle for Placidus and
subsequently known to his troops as "Khalid the
Immortal") decided to invest in external support for
new equipment.
After the demise of Colonel Lucas Broglie,
commanding officer of Broglie's Legion in the
Meridienne War in 334TW (thereby forcing his unit -
formerly also known as Baffin's Legion up until the
death of Colonel Baffin - to adopt a new Commander
and become ben Mehdi's Legion) el Khalid took advice from their Colonel Hussein ben Mehdi (ex of Fasolini's
Company) and followed his lead by purchasing up armoured M12 Tank destroyers to provide the big punch for the
FSHB. The M12L14 by Icarus Industries is not only bigger and tougher than the M12A4 that The Brotherhood were
previously employing, it is better armoured - with a bigger calibre main gun - than the M12A1 version used by the
Broglies. As an aside, ben Mehdi is also upgrading his force with the new M12L14.
