Repair and touch upThe first thing I did was paint over some painted areas which had lost out through damage. I had to mix a colour that matched as close as possible the green Jim had used but mixed with some brown to emulate the resulting colour from whatever dip and wash he'd used. So a green/brown/drab khaki then.I then used a slightly green tinted sand colour to do some edge catching. I wasn't to precise in this but I wanted to bring out the vehicle shapes and stop them just being dark green blobs on the table- top.Next - with my heart in my mouth - I poured my entire container of black future, pre- mixed (by me) dip into a large plastic beaker (the biggest vehicle in the inventory - the Sohei Heavy Tanks - are big models!) and (gloved up) I dipped them one after another into the solution, followed by all of their turrets. The next morning I had glossy - but non- sticky - vehicles with more definition thanks to the black ink. Success! The it was onto the extra decals....
