Game 2: Slammers take hits The Slammers took an early loss of a combat car as they arrived and then they traded shots: Blower to Zentaur/Molot and lost some each. The Antargrans used their sniper to designate for missile attacks with their launchers mounted on, for the most part, lighter MICVs. They saturated Blowers: some missed, some were taken out with tri-barrels and some hit but just didn’t penetrate the top armour. Finally Sergeant Sparrow got his blower onto the road and stormed into town but was taken out by a Gryphon medium tank who made a suicide run up his side and took him in the flank. The Slammers then lost another Blower to missile fire from both the Antargrans reduced number of vehicles (they too had been taking losses) plus an NUA Sokol which rapid fired it’s missile launcher risking a jam. And still the Slammers couldn’t find the sniper! In the end the Slammers resorted to hosing down a building as a likely location - as usual one of the high rises. They took out the top three floors and set them alight with tri-barrel fire but the sniper had been one floor down. It just wasn’t there night! In the end the Colonel withdrew his men and the seedbank with whatever valuable resources it housed, stayed in Antargran hands. Big thanks to all of those who took part and assisted in running the game. John Treadaway
