Force Balancing The Slammers had two detachments, which is 16 Tactical Units (TU). Slammers Engineers: led by Captain Asquith 4 TUs 4 Infantry (Sappers): 2 with powerguns, 1 with buzzbombs, 1 with grenade launchers. 1 TU Wrecker (Transport) vehicle for the infantry. 1 TU Jeep armed with a tribarrel powergun. 1 TU Command Car. 1 TU Infantry on Skimmers (with buzzbombs). Slammers Armoured Defence force: led by Major Hyde 3 TUs Blower Tanks – two M2A4 and one up- armoured and up-gunned M2A4UA. 4 TUs 4 M9A1 Combat Cars (1 up armoured as an M9A7). 1 TU Command Car The Slammers commanders didn’t have to be in the command vehicles – it makes them an obvious target – but they get a leadership bonus if they are ensconced within them. Henry chose to take the extra leadership points and put his commanders in the boxy ‘fire magnets’. The Clark’s Commandos were three standard detachments which is 30 Tactical Units: Strike detachment: led by Colonel Clark. Infantry Detachment (with an enhanced sniper) led by a Lieutenant. Heavy Assault detachment: led by a Captain.
