Vehicles, Technology and Equipment
All of the wheeled vehicles use well shaped (although quite
unsophisticated) armour sacrificing absolute defensive
measures for speed. The exceptions to this are the armoured
assault tanks - the Python and the Cobra which, while still
quite fast, are better armoured.
In addition, crews are specially trained to get the most out of
their AFVs so they move fast and - for weaponry - they
generally mount weapons which are excellent against middle
weight opponents: typically the 9cm auto-cannon. This fire
fast (for a main tank gun) and can penetrate well, though it
would have to be very lucky to piece the frontal armour of the heaviest MBTs.
To counter those sorts of targets, the Cobra and Scimitar Tank Destroyers feature a specialist Launcher cannon
(called the Sheleighly Duo) which can fire as an Auto-canon or a unique “twin-head” anti armour buzzbomb.
