Support Weapons Also based on the same chassis as the Scimitar and Scorpion is the Arcatinus AA system and the Rinkhals MLRS Mortar-Missile system. The former carries a twin 3cm Auto Cannon mount which has the dual capability of defence against incoming artillery and missile threats but can also lay a prodigious amount of ground fire against softer skin targets and infantry. As the standard vehicle possess no on-board AAA systems, the Arcatinus is widely used in detachments. The Rinkhals MLRS Mortar-Missile system uses a unique missile launcher system that fires intelligent missile systems in pairs from a turret mounted dual-launcher box. These missiles may be set, pre-launch, to function as either a light ATGW system or to air-burst above a target as a light mortar. The only disadvantage the system has is that it is limited to the number of target it can engage: each salvo has to target the same location.
