The Talin Infantry Combat VehicleThe Talin is a light but fast IFV. It is lightly armed with a Heavy Support Weapon and the single, heavily armoured infantry team carried usually finds fighting from the vehicle itself restrictive so their standard tactics do mean that the Talin is used as a ‘Battlefield Bus’ and the troops within usually deploy as quickly as they can.Commando Infantry The infantry are all similarly equiped; they wear full body armour and carry a large selection of weapons: these include a Flechette Shotgun (deployed by some troopers in close quarter combat); an accessory Anti-tank Grenade Launcher (usually fitted to the shot gun which enables ranged fire against armoured vehicles); and Flechette Rifles which are very effective against infantry targets. One member of each team usually carries a Heavy Support Weapon which provides long range support fire which is particularly useful against soft skin vehicles but will even penetrate heavier support vehicles (like a Combat Car, for example). The full body armour is worn by all troops even the designated snipers.
