Other than basework I’d pretty
much finished at this point.
I started this last task by painting
undiluted PVA in big splashes over
the base in areas that looked like
they could use some grass and/or
areas where I had already
drybrushed the earth colours too
heavily, thereby aiming to correct
my sloppy painting failures.
I try to waste as little effort as is
humanly possible...
After that I added some of the
fashionable, pre-clumped lumps of
long grass to the base and areas
of the roof, in discrete corners and
so on. I guess the same slackers
that do the windows in this place
also do a sloppy job of clearing the
gutters and roof areas...

Grass was dry brushed in Humbrol Desert Sand to tone it down slightly
