I was on the ‘home straight’ now!

I gave the toys another coat of

spray can varnish and then started

on detailed metal work and

windows plus final dirt!

Metal work was touched up with

GW Mithril Silver to make it shine

plus windows and the

commanders’ visors were given

coats of Tamiya transparent

coloured paint - mostly blue. Over

the metallic, shaded undercoat,

this gives an interesting effect. Not

much like windows, perhaps, but...

Finally the vehicles were flipped

over and the underside was

sprayed with a final rattle-can of

Humbrol Earth to make them look

dusty and dirty in the nether

regions...
