Before I went any further I spray-
can matt varnished the vehicles
(Testors Dullcoat).
Next up came dry brushing.
I used GW’s Bleached Bone as a
compromise over most of the
vehicles including even the tyres.
It’s easy to overdo this part - and I
usually do! It’s best to just run the
paint along edges of panel lines
and not scrub a dry brush over the
whole vehicle - unless you want it
to look really messy and worn, that
is.
The Old Crow vehicles have lots of
panel lines and straight edges so
this technique should be a cinch.
Unless you’re ham fisted like me,
of course...
