Thunderbolts Against those I had two detachments of Thunderbolts with the infantry concealed and dug into some of the buildings (specifically a light dwelling to the right of the road, the main communications tower (“Marineville”) plus an enhanced sniper at the top of the Zocalo hotel. At the rear - behind the hotel - was an infantry Mortar unit which made good use of their enhanced ammunition (it managed to knock out a couple of vehicles during the game: quite a coup for an infantry mortar, even if they were mostly jeeps!). They also had a Panzer Detachment with six heavies (three each of the Br59 and Br66 tank destroyers) plus a command vehicle. The rest was a slightly fiddled with Recce unit with four Vikings and some infantry (including that Sniper). The Game Play involved lots of missile salvoes from the combined launchers of the Thunderbolts all guided en masse by the Sniper (who the New Ukrainians just could not spot no matter how they tried, though they did suspect where he was...). However, the ukrainians had the advantage of using their secondary weapons in a network (Anti-Artillery and anti-ATGW capability) and managed to shoot many down (which Tony was quite relieved at: who likes to see one tank targeted by eight missiles...).
