InfantryTroopers are either lightly armoured ‘Mountain’ or ‘Alpine’ Light Infantry or more heavily armoured troops in full body armour. They are armed with Cone-bore Assault Rifles firing osmium penetrators and a Heavy Support version of the same weapon. These lighter troops wear half armour and are placed into the ‘Mountain’ detachments. These Alpine units use the lighter and more mobile Puma and Chariot vehicles, relying on the Puma’s main gun and the latter’s ATGWs for their anti-armour capabilities. The same type of troops are used in the Armoured Grenadier and Heavy Infantry detachments wear full body armour, although they use the same weapons as their lighter brethren and have dedicated tank hunter units with shoulder launched buzzbombs. The Heavy Infantry use better armoured vehicles: the Lynx APC and Fire support variants with Palug remote vehicles. They are dedicated anti-armour infantry. The Armoured Grenadier units again use the Lynx APC and Fire support variants for transport, however they rely mostly on their Cougar MBTs for anti-armour work, although they do use dedicated Tank hunters and, again, all wear full body armour. Unlike the Armoured Grenadier detachments, Alpine and The Heavy Armoured Infantry detachments often utilise Snipers.
