Modelling The Brigade vehicles needed very little prep or seam removal. They were cleaned and degreased (soapy water) and then sprayed with grey automotive primer (PHycote from Amazon - about £8). I primed a single Daedalus and four M2A2  blowers, one of which was designated as a command vehicle (which doesn’t have the missile boxes fitted). They were then sprayed with a dark green, again from a rattle can. The tri-barrels were separated and dipped in black wash. I planned to stick those on later. Camo Bearing in mind I wanted to produce a camouflage pattern reminiscent of the legacy vehicles I already had (after all, I was only planning on replacing the blowers for my pre- 326 Army: I was gonna leave the rest). I next opened a can of Panzer Putty. This is a stringy, clever plastic masking compound that I had wanted to try out for some time. Getting ahead of myself here, the results are a lot like my use of blue-tac for masking (see here) only... better. It’s less stringy, more clingy but less sticky than blue or white tac and its glossy surface shrugs of paint better than the other putties, meaning it should last longer (and – at over twenty pounds a tin – it should do!). Anyway, I laid down some black Panzer Putty and over sprayed with a Vallejo are mid brown using my airbrush. Without removing the first lot, I then re-puttied and used some Vallejo dunkelgelb and then set this all to dry.
