Camo scheme While that was all going down I sprayed the turrets with a vaguely Russian camouflage pattern using Russian green and a pale bone colour with the former masked out using Panzer Putty.Of course - by the time I’d over weathered the models - most of this initial paint job was very hard to see so I could probably have not bothered but... I enjoy using the Panzerputty The Killdozers I also started to assemble the Dozers with the Corrugated Iron sheet and the etched brass sheets, both of which I had pre-sprayed with the rust coloured primer. I weathered the prepainted armour a little before sticking it onto the dozers. I also added etched brass around the cab windows to protect them, and then the plastic ‘armour’ was added around most sides. This was done in a deliberately ‘hap hazard’ way (all stuck on with cyano glue) and two painted gatling turrets (Brigade) ere added to the roofs. Mud, weathering and rust were all added. Recruiting a Crew Crew: one of the Volvos had an armoured truck bed added from corrugated iron to act as a Vietnam style ‘gun truck’. That was going to need crew (and guns) plus the weapons I was mounting on the Mine dumper truck would all need crew and so forth. GZG supplied all of these and they were clipped of of their bases, spray primered Army Painter Green and then painted up, dipped in Strong Tone and then varnished separately.
