Although you can’t see the results
in these photographs, the final
elements in the painting were,
block colours (doors and so forth)
and then large areas of rusty
metal. These got a lot of attention
from a pot of GW Scorched Earth,
or whatever it’s called: dark
chocolate brown.
Then It was move on to a black
wash. As I mentioned earlier the
black wash was a Humbrol and
white spirit mix, heavier in some
places than others to represent
dirtier areas and dark corners. 
After that I added transfers (Archer
dry rub down items) for some
random signage.
