So this is the finished item, shot

with some Apex Dragoons and

their vehicles (GZG and Old Crow

respectively) that I’d painted

earlier.

As an aside, though I’m quite

pleased with the vehicles, the

figures were a little, er... rushed.

After the black wash and the

transfers, next item was pastel

chalks. I used three from MiG: Old

Rust (a brown) to supplement (and

soften the edges of) some of the

similarly coloured paint. Then I

used Standard Rust (rather burnt

orange in colour) to add some

newer rusty areas over the darker

brown.

Lastly I used Black Smoke to add

extra shading and actual ‘dirt’ to

areas that would benefit.
