Army Painter Strong! For a change, and rather than actually dipping them, I brush painted on Army Painter Dip Strong (the Dark Brown colour) and let it set for a while. How long? Long enough to paint almost 100 figures and then go back to the start. I then began, er... well at the beginning and just made sure that no unsightly blobs of dip were forming between legs and under arms and so forth by brushing them out. The next day - when that had all cured (and while I was decaling up the Hiroseki vehicles) I added some small Slammers Rampant Lion water slide decals to some of the skimmers. I used Decal fix chemicals (Micro-sol and Micro-set) to make sure these stayed down and - after a few hours - I gave them a slight touch with some Future- with-Black ink mix to both seal them and weather them in slightly.
