Painting With one exception, I built the models ‘out of the box’ I had enough large half track bodies and some alternate turrets to enable me to make detachments of Br59 and Br66 turreted models (the ‘Tank’ and and ‘Tank Destroyer’ variants), and the Br54 M/ICV and Br57 Calliope with three spares so that I can swap them out. The ‘exception’ was to add a dozer blade and crane arm for the Br58SM Schlepper. These extra items - along with some of the stowage that littered the vehicles - were GZG items. I also added Brigade’s own stowage, some resin stowage (historical 15mm historical stuff) that I’d bought on line and my usual approach to making tarps from greenstuff (now with just a tiny tab of black Milliput to tone down the material and allow me to not have to paint them!). See here for my work on that sort of thing. Spray I over sprayed the vehicles with a mid green (can’t remember which one) and then added a  red-brown through an Anarchy stencil called snakeskin. Dip With all of the material stuck onto the models, they all took a dip in Future floor polish with black ink in it and - when that was dry, (and after the decals were added with some Micro-sol and Micro-set) they were matt varnished (Testors DullCote spray) and then had silver shiney parts, clear windows and lenses (Tamiya clear coloured laquer) and mudd added from my own pots of basing material (see later).
